Camelias GC is located in the North Eastern Province of Misiones, only a few hours drive from the famous, Iguazu Waterfalls. It was created in 2007, is family owned and set within a beautiful Tea and Yerba plantation.
Being located 100 km from the nearest golf course, it started life as a driving range before being extended to a 9 hole course with the help of Roberto Serra, opening in it’s present state in 2009.
The course has double tee boxes to allow for an 18 hole make up and comes in at 6,100 yards with a nice selection of par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s. The signature hole being a delightfully tricky par 3 over a lagoon from a raised tee to a green surrounded by bunkers and flowering azaleas (might be the closest most of us get to playing at Augusta?!).
This course is uniquely located only 70 km from Paraguay and 40 km from Brazil so there’s the opportunity to include golf in multiple countries when playing at Camelias GC, as well as a visit to the waterfalls. The vibrancy of the natural vegetation from this region makes this course a picturesque stop to include in a longer trip.
You can enjoy a round at Camelias GC as part of our Golf in Buenos Aires package or as part of a uniquely design itinerary. Contact us for more information about your group requirements.
